Ok, so today we were inspired to use a little TLC with our cookies. Today while Amber was at church... and I (Keri) was at work... story of my life!! Jesse, Amber's future husband set things up to leave flowers and her favorite candy Reese's Hearts in her room. To stop her from eating them all, so she can get ready to get in bride mode, we decided to make them into cookie form! SO, long story short... it is the day of love, and yes, girls like to eat cookies.. so this is what we do!!

The ingredients of love....
3/4 Cup butter, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cup flour
21 mini reese's hearts... cut them in half (you can also use peanut butter cups)

Amalgamation...
(yeah, this is Amber's word...a.k.a. the steps)

1. Cream the butters

2. Add the sugars... our favorite ingredient.... besides peanut butter (sorry Kaci, we will make cookies without pb for bailey)

3. Shape the dough into balls... 1 1/2 inches in diamerer... then take reese's (We froze them. It is easier to cut and mold the dough around them.) and enclose the dough around the pb to form the wonderful cookie ball.
- Just so you all know... at this point of our baking... I have watched Amber do all the work while I blog... haha. She is Jesse's girl.... so I gave her the honors of making her cookie right??

4. There should be like 42 balls... but if you want jumbo balls, you will have less... you make the call.

5. Preheat the oven to 375. Then bake these lil things for 8-10 minutes. We like to use double cookie sheets, so that the bottoms don't burn. After patiently waiting... take the cookies out, and top them off with a lil cocoa powder... delish!!

6. EAT THEM NOW... maybe wait a bit so you don't burn your mouth and you can enjoy the second batch... spread the love.
