Red velvet cookies... simple and sweet!

Date: March 23rd
Cookie: Red Velvet
Ratings: pretty good... and way easy

The goods you need:
red velvet cake mix
1 egg
1/2 oil
(we added flour to the mix because we wanted our cookie to be thicker... if you want to do thin cookies and make like a oreo style... don't add flour... if ya want a thick one... you just eye it and add however much you think...)
Frosting:
4 cups powder sugar
1/2 stick butter
4 oz cream cheese
2-3 table spoons milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 dash salt
HOW TO DO...
1. mix up the cake mix with the egg and oil... we added flour for a thicker cookie... whatever floats your boat... real simple
2. frosting- soften the cream cheese and the butter.... then slowly add the powder sugar... milk.. and vanilla.... done!!
3. oven- 350 for 9 minutes... let them cool and frost away... look how creative we got!! so domestic!

  1. Thank you for bringing me some of these delicious cookies. I enjoyed one of them (actually two because it was the cookie sandwich), put them safely wrapped on the very top shelf of the pantry, and went to enjoy them the next day... don't worry that Candice snuck into them. They were that good. I didn't even tell her they were there. I think she smelt them out.
